During his extensive beekeeping journey, Shantaveeriah had the privilege of visiting SSV, where he passionately shared the importance of beekeeping with young minds. His interactions with the children were deeply rewarding as he explained the critical role bees play in pollination and ecosystem health. Shantaveeriah believes that teaching the next generation about beekeeping is crucial to sustaining the practice and fostering a deep respect for nature.

In addition to his educational efforts, Shantaveeriah attended the "Vishala Hrudhaya Sammelana," a unique gathering that brought together people from different parts of India and the world. Here, he engaged in meaningful conversations, exchanging ideas and experiences about beekeeping and agriculture. These interactions reinforced the universal importance of bees, no matter where people come from, and the need for global awareness and collaboration in preserving bee populations.

One of Shantaveeriah’s most significant contributions at SSV was his demonstration of honey bee colony migration. Colony migration involves carefully relocating a bee colony from one place to another, ensuring the safety of both the bees and their new environment. This practice is essential when environmental conditions change or when colonies need to be moved to more fertile areas for honey production. Shantaveeriah explained the process in detail to both seasoned and aspiring beekeepers, emphasizing that successful migration requires skill, patience, and an understanding of bee behavior. Properly executed, colony migration can ensure the continuity of a healthy bee population and increase productivity.

Additionally, Shantaveeriah visited the nature cure center at SSV, where he met guests from Belgium. He took this opportunity to demonstrate beekeeping practices, sharing his valuable insights and experience with an international audience. His knowledge, particularly regarding sustainable beekeeping and the benefits of honey, resonated with the visitors, making the experience enriching for everyone involved.

Shantaveeriah’s visit to SSV stands as a testament to his dedication to promoting beekeeping and his belief in the power of education and global collaboration to sustain this vital practice.
